Solution

Given:

Specific conductivity (κ) = 0.025 S cm−1

Concentration (C) = 0.20 mol L−1

To find:

Molar conductivity = ?

Calculations:

`Lambda_m = (kappa xx 1000)/C`

= `(0.025 xx 1000)/0.20`

= 125 S cm2 mol−1

∴ The molar conductivity of the given solution is 125 S cm2 mol−1.
