Solution

Given:

  • Speed of sound in air  (v) = 340 m/s,
  • Time (T) = 4 second

Find: Distance (λ)

Formula: v = `lambda/"T"`

Calculations:

According to formula,

`340 = lambda/4`

λ = 340 × 4

λ = 1360 m

The distance of lightning flash from Nita will be 1360 m.
