Solution
In Young’s double slit experiment amplitude is directly proportional to the width of the slit.
I ∝ A2
`I_1/I_2 = A_1^2/A_2^2`
`25/1 = A_1^2/A_2^2`
`5/1 = A_1/A_2`
∴ The amplitudes will be in the ratio 5 : 1.
