Solution

We have to find the value of k, if the sum of the zeros of the quadratic polynomial  f(x) = kx2 − 3x + 5 is 1 is 1

Given

Sum of the polynomial = 1

`(-text{Cofficient of x})/(text{Cofficient of }x^2)=1`

`-((-3)/k)=1`

`3 =1xxk`

`3 = k`

Hence, the value of k is = 3
