Solution

`[(x, -5, -1)][(1, 0, 2),(0, 2, 1),(2, 0, 3)][(x),(4),(1)] = 0`

∴ `[(x, -5, -1)][(x + 0 + 2), (0 + 8 + 1), (2x + 0 + 3)] = 0`

⇒ `[(x, -5, -1)][(x + 2),(9),(2x + 3)] = 0`

⇒ [x(x + 2) – 45 – (2x + 3)] = 0

⇒ x2 + 2x – 45 – (2x + 3) = 0

⇒ x2 + 2x – 45 – 2x – 3 = 0

⇒ x2 – 48 = 0

⇒ x2 = 48

⇒ x = `±sqrt(48)`

⇒ x = `4sqrt(3)`
