The given AP is  `3/4 , 5/4 , 7/4 , 9/4 ,.........`

First term,` a= 3/4`

Common difference `d = 5/4 - 3/4 = 2/4 = 1/2`

n^th  term of the AP ` a_n = a + (n-1) d = 3/4 + (n-1) xx (1/2)`

∴ 9^th  termof the AP `a_9 = 3/4 + (9-1) xx 1/2 = 3/4 + 4= 19/4`
