The given sequence is 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, ........

Here, t₁ = 3, t₂ = 5, t₃ = 7, t₄ = 9

∴ t₂ – t₁ = 5 – 3 = 2

t₃ – t₂ = 7 – 5 = 2

t₄ – t₃ = 9 – 7 = 2

∴ t₂ – t₁ = t₃ – t₂ = ... = 2 = d = constant

The difference between two consecutive terms is constant.

∴ The given sequence is an A.P.
