Calculate the mass of silver deposited at cathode when a current of 2 amperes is passed through a solution of AgNO3 for 15 minutes.

E = `A/1`

= `108/1`

= 108

z = `E/96500`

= `108/96500` g/c

I = 2 amperes

t = 15 × 60 = 900 sec.

w = z × I × t

= `108/96500 xx 2 xx 900`

= `(216 xx 9)/965`

= `1944/965`

= 2.014 g
