Total nucleotides = 1000
Adenine (A) = 240
Thymine (T) = 240 (A pair with T)
Cytosine (C) + Guanine (G) = Remaining nucleotides
C + G = 1000 − (A + T)
= 1000 − 480
= 520
Pyrimidines (Cytosine + Thymine)
Pyrimidines = T + C
= 240 + 260
= 500
