Define Market.

 In simple words market is the place where two or more parties are involved in buying and selling. These two parties involved in the transactions are called buyers and sellers.

Define Marketing.

According to the American Marketing Association, “Marketing is the activity, set of institutions, and processes for creating, communicating, delivering, and exchanging offerings that have value for customers, clients, partners, and society at large.”

Define sales promotion. 

According to the American Marketing Association, sales promotion includes "those marketing activities other than personal selling, advertising and publicity, that stimulate consumer purchasing and dealer effectiveness, such as point of purchase displays, shows and exhibitions, demonstrations and various non-recurring selling efforts not in the ordinary routine."
