Respected principal, honorable teachers and my dear friends. I feel extremely privileged and grateful to be standing in front of you to thank one of the most diligent and industrious person of our college for his continuous hard work and selfless service, our beloved, Mr. Pathak.
Mr. Pathak has been a dedicated and hardworking supervisor of our institution. He has worked here for a glorious span of twenty-eight long years. He had first joined this college as a junior lecturer. With time he kept progressing professionally and finally attained the designation of a supervisor.
I remember, during the initial days of college, I had this fear of public speaking and used to have massive stage-fright. I had got Mr. Pathak as my teacher. I confided this fear of mine in him. He consoled me with his kind word, shared with me some tips on how to overcome this fear. Since then he has constantly been encouraging me to take part in various public-speaking activities. And today, here I stand before you, forever in debt to this gem of a person. He has been supportive and guided many students like me towards the correct path.
Mr. Pathak’s contribution to the success of his students is countless. It was indeed an honour to have been a part of his mentorship. I hope Mr. Pathak has a peaceful and happy life ahead.
