2. It is always uniparental. It is usually biparental.
3. Gametes are not formed. Two types of gametes are formed.
4. It involves only mitosis. It involves both meiosis and mitosis.
5. Daughter organisms are genetically identical to the parent. Daughter organisms genetically differ from their parents.
6. Since there is no variation, so it does not contribute to evolution of the species. Because variations contribute to the evolution of species.

उत्तर २

Sr. No. Asexual reproduction Sexual reproduction
1. No mixing of genetic material; therefore less variation in offspring and less evolutionary potential. Mixing of genetic material occurs; offspring show greater variation.
2. No gamete formation. Fertilization absent. Gametes are formed. Fertilization occurs.
3. Usually more offspring. Usually fewer offspring.
4. Only one parent is involved (Uniparental). Normally, two parents are involved (Biparental).
5. Rapid process and as such takes advantage of favourable conditions. It is a slower process.
6. Occurs in lower invertebrates and lower chordates and plants with simple organisations. Occurs almost in all types of animals and mostly in higher plants.
