उत्तर

  Xenogamy (allogamy) Geitonogamy
1. Xenogamy is the transfer of pollen grains from the anther to the stigma of a different plant.  Geitonogamy is the transfer of pollen from one flower’s anther to another flower’s stigma.
2. This is the only type of pollination which during pollination brings genetically different types of pollen grains to the stigma. It is also known as allogamy. Genetically, it is similar to autogamy, since the pollen grains come from the same plant. But it requires pollinating agents that help transfer the pollen from another flower onto the same plant.
3. It is cross-pollination. It is self-pollination.
