Dear Anup,
I hope you are doing great and adjusting well to your new school. I am writing this letter to share some incredible news. I recently took part in our school’s science exhibition and my group won the first prize for our model. As you know, I have a keen interest in science and its researches; so, I decided to take part in the school science fair this year along with my friends. We worked day and night on our science model – a working model of the human heart. It took us a whole month of hard work to complete it. Our teachers were also extremely supportive and helped us with all of our difficulties. It was really an interesting and exciting experience. We had given our best but had never thought that we stood a chance. We were overjoyed when our name was called out. It was a very tough competition among almost 70 groups. This experience has made me determined to participate more and work harder. Do write to me about your cricket practices and new surroundings in your next letter. Convey my regards to your parents and grandparents. Hoping to see you soon.
