Brand means any identification mark (such as trade name, mark, symbol, picture, design, colour, etc.) used to identify a seller’s product and differentiate it from competitors’ products. A registered brand is known as a ‘trademark’. Dalda ghee, Colgate toothpaste, Lux soap, and Titan watches are examples of brands.
