- The solutions which do not obey Raoult’s law over the entire range of concentrations are called non-ideal solutions.
- Liquids whose molecules interact with one another with a force different from the force their own molecules interact with one another produce non-ideal solutions.
- Therefore, when the forces of attraction between molecules A and B differ from those between molecules A-A or B-B, two liquids A and B, create a non-ideal solution.
