उत्तर
Given, Ravi can walk `3 1/3` km in 1 h
∴ Ravi’s speed = `3 1/3` km/h
= `((3 xx 3) + 1)/3` ...`[∵ "Speed" = "Distance"/"Time"]`
= `(9 + 1)/3`
= `10/3` km/h
∵ Distance between Ravi and his office = 10 km
∴ Time = `"Distance between Ravi and his office"/"Ravi’s speed in 1 h"`
= `10/(10/3)`
= `10/1 xx 3/10` ...[∵ Division is reverse of the multiplication]
= `30/10`
= 3 h
Hence, Ravi reaches his office in 3 h.
