उत्तर
Given, Radhika takes `2 1/3` m of cloth to make a shirt
i.e. `2 1/3` m = `((2 xx 3) + 1)/3`
= `(6 + 1)/3`
= `7/3` m
If Radhika has `9 1/3` m long cloth
i.e. `9 1/3` m = `((9 xx 3) + 1)/3`
= `(27 + 1)/3`
= `28/3` m
Then, number of shirts that can be made
= `"Available cloth"/"Required cloth to make one shirt"`
= `(28/3)/(7/3)`
= `28/3 xx 3/7` ...[∵ Division is reverse of the multiplication]
= `28/7`
= 4
Hence, Radhika can make 4 shirts from available piece of cloth.
