उत्तर

Wrestling uses scoring terms to describe how a competitor gains control:

  1. Takedown: Taking an opponent from a standing position to the mat earns a point; the score may be higher if the opponent is brought onto the back.
  2. Exposure: Turning an opponent’s shoulders towards the mat so the back passes the required angle scores points. Holding the opponent in a danger position for five seconds earns an extra point.
  3. Reversal: A wrestler who moves from the bottom position to the top and gains control scores one point.
  4. Escape: A wrestler who gets out from underneath, reaches their feet and faces the opponent scores one point.
  5. Points are awarded by the officials according to the competition rules, and the bout may end early when the required technical point lead is reached.
