Cost of 12 lemons = ₹ 48
∴ Cost of 1 lemon = ₹ `48/12` = ₹ 4 ...[∵ 1 dozen = 12 pieces]
Also, 10 lemons sold by = ₹ 40
∴ Selling price of 1 lemon = ₹ `40/10` = ₹ 4
∴ Cost price of 1 lemon = Selling price of 1 lemon
∴ No profit and no loss.
