उत्तर

Cost of 12 lemons = ₹ 48

∴ Cost of 1 lemon = ₹ `48/12` = ₹ 4  ...[∵ 1 dozen = 12 pieces]

Also, 10 lemons sold by = ₹ 40

∴ Selling price of 1 lemon = ₹ `40/10` = ₹ 4

∴ Cost price of 1 lemon = Selling price of 1 lemon

∴ No profit and no loss.
