उत्तर

Aahuti purchased a house for ₹ 50,59,700 and spent ₹ 40300 on its repairs. To make a profit of 5%, she should sell the house for ₹ 5355000.

Explanation:

Given, C.P. of house = ₹ 5059700

And amount spent on repairing = ₹ 40300

So, total C.P. of house = 5059700 + 40300 = ₹ 5100000

We  know that, profit % = `"Profit"/"C.P." xx 100%`

⇒ `5 = (S.P. -  C.P.)/(C.P.) xx 100`  ...[∵ Profit = S.P. – C.P. and profit% = 5, given]

⇒ `5 = (S.P. -  5100000)/5100000 xx 100`

⇒ `(5 xx 5100000)/100 = S.P. -  5100000`

⇒ 255000 = S.P. – 5100000

⇒ S.P. = 5100000 + 255000

∴ S.P. = ₹ 5355000
