उत्तर

General warming-up Specific warming-up
It is also known as Informal or Non-related Warming-up. It is also known as Formal or Related Warming-up.
It consists of exercises involving the large muscles of the body in a manner not resembling their actual use in the game or competition. It involves movements and skills of a particular game, sport or event in a modified form.
Its main purpose is to raise body temperature and gradually stimulate the heart for a strong effort. It helps athletes to improve neuromuscular coordination, maximise skill practice and condition their muscles.
Examples include light running, jogging, short sprints, calisthenics, jumping, turning, twisting and stretching exercises. Examples include shooting a billiard ball, hitting a tennis ball, punching a hanging bag, spiking a hanging ball, dribbling a football and jumping hurdles.
It is done before specific warming-up. It is done only after general warming-up.
Informal warming-up primarily raises the level of activity of most organs and systems. Formal warming-up primarily affects the nervous system.
