उत्तर

Given:

Conductivity κ = 2.6 × 10−2 S cm−1

Normality N = 2 N (since 1 M H2SO4 gives 2 equivalents per mole)

To calculate the equivalent conductance (Λeq) of a solution, use the formula:

`Lambda_"eq" = (kappa xx 1000)/N`

= `(2.6 xx 10^-2 xx 1000)/2`

= `26/2`

Λeq = 13 S cm2 eq−1

∴ The equivalent conductance of 1 M H2SO4 solution is 13 S cm2 eq−1
