About Institute
Jayawant Shikshan Prasarak Mandal’s Bivrabai Sawant Polytechnic was established in 2006, under the dynamic leadership of Prof. T. J. Sawant keeping the view of tremendous requirement of skilled human resources in the industry and changing global needs. The Institute is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and Govt. Of Maharashtra affiliated to Board of Technical Education, Mumbai, Maharashtra. The society has many eminent personalities from the field of education and industry on its advisory committee, whose rich experience and guidance benefit the society.
Objectives
With the development of Technology in Pune and at large in India , industries are growing speedily which results in interdisciplinary approach in engineering practices. The goal of Bhivrabai Sawant Polytechnic is to follow JSPM’s mission “To provide, nurture and maintain an environment of high academic excellence, research and entrepreneurship for all aspiring students, which will prepare them to face global challenges, maintaining high ethical and moral standards.” We also aim to provide platform for the exchange of ideas about recent developments in industrial practices, which will enhance the knowledge transformation among the engineering faculties and professionals from various disciplines. Our institute aims to be ‘ Center of Excellence in Technical Education.
