The ASEAN logo consists of ten stalks of paddy (rice) which represent the ten southeast Asian countries bound together in friendship and solidarity. The circle around the stalks represents the unity of ASEAN. The colours in the logo—blue represents peace and stability, red depicts courage and dynamism, white stands for purity and yellow for prosperity.
