The poet must have observed the hectic lifestyles of others around him, who are never at a leisure to appreciate the beauty of their surroundings. Indeed, it is relevant to our current lives, which are becoming increasingly hectic. Our lives are becoming more and more artificial and disconnected from nature these days thanks to the Internet, smartphones, computers, and social networking sites.

We sang our school fight song dozens of times – en route to Arlington National cemetery, and even on an afternoon cruise down the Potomac River. We visited the Lincoln Memorial twice, once in day – light, the second time at dusk.
