\[\text { The dimensions are in the ratio 2: 3: 4 . } \]
\[\text { Hence, length = 2x m }\]
\[\text { Breadth = 3x }m\]

\[\text { So, total surface area of the rectangular box }= 2 \times \text { (length }\times \text { breadth + breadth } \times \text { height + length }\times \text { height) }\]
\[ = 2 \times (2x \times 3x + 3x \times 4x + 2x \times 4x)\]
\[ = 2 \times (6 x^2 + 12 x^2 + 8 x^2 )\]
\[ = 2 \times (26 x^2 )\]
\[ = 52 x^2 m^2 \]
