उत्तर
Let `E = sqrt(40)/sqrt(3)`
For rationalising the denominator, multiplying numerator and denominator by `sqrt(3)`,
`E = sqrt(40)/sqrt(3) xx sqrt(3)/sqrt(3)`
= `sqrt(40 xx 3)/(sqrt(3))^2`
= `sqrt(120)/3`
= `sqrt(2 xx 2 xx 2 xx 5 xx 3)/3`
= `2/3 sqrt(30)`

`1/(sqrt5+sqrt2)`
Rationalise the denominator in the following and hence evaluate by taking `sqrt(2) = 1.414, sqrt(3) = 1.732` and `sqrt(5) = 2.236`, upto three places of decimal.
`sqrt(2)/(2 + sqrt(2)`
Simplify:
`(1/27)^((-2)/3)`
If `sqrt(2) = 1.414, sqrt(3) = 1.732`, then find the value of `4/(3sqrt(3) - 2sqrt(2)) + 3/(3sqrt(3) + 2sqrt(2))`.
