Dear Mayur,
I hope you are in good health and relaxing after the first-term examinations. I’m sure you must have done well as this is a crucial year for all of us. My exams have just ended too, and I am looking forward to some well-needed rest.
I am writing this letter so that we all get to unwind during the festival of Diwali, especially since we would all have to gear up for our Board exams after that. Hence, you are warmly invited to celebrate Diwali with my family on Sunday, 22nd October.
The Laxmi poojan will be followed by a special lunch along with Diwali goodies such as Mathri, Kaju Katli, and your favourite Gujia. Post-lunch, we have organised a fun programme and an antakshari competition, with the elders of the family teaming up against the younger members.
Prasad, Nandini, Anita and Shreya too would be joining us along with their respective families.
Please do come along with your family. I’m eagerly awaiting your arrival.
Yours lovingly,
Shreyas
