(iv) Hydroxyl
(v) Dirty green
उत्तर २
In the presence of a catalyst nitrogen and hydrogen combine to give ammonia gas. When the same gas is passed through water it forms a solution, which will be alkaline in nature, and will contain the ions ammonium and hydroxyl. A dirty green coloured precipitate of iron [II] hydroxide is formed when the above solution is added to iron [II] sulphate solution.
Notes
Students should refer to the answer according to their questions.
