Dear Kedar,
How are you? I am doing great here at college. I hope you and your parents are doing well. I would have written to you sooner but I, too, was busy with my own exams.
Kedar, I came to know in these two-three days that you have taken the car. So congratulations to you. Today I saw a road safety week poster in our college campus. As soon as I saw the poster, I remembered you. So I felt it is my responsibility as a big brother to educate you about road safety.
Keep in mind that leaving on time is the only way to arrive somewhere on time. You could think that driving too fast or passing others would make up for the lost time, but doing so will simply put you in greater danger. No matter how unpleasant it may be, you should always buckle up and never drive after drinking. Always put yourself first and never use a cell phone while driving. Finally, always abide by the driving laws. I assure you that they were designed to make your life simpler, not tougher.
I hope you will remember what I have said and drive safely. Please take care of yourself, and I will pay you a visit over summer vacation.
