उत्तर
Zn2+ ions on addition of NH4OH forms white precipitates of Zn(OH)2 which further dissolves in excess of NH4OH.
On the other hand, Pb2+ ions do form Pb(OH)2 with ammonium hydroxides but these precipitates do not dissolve in excess of NH4OH.
