उत्तर

Interpolation is a mathematical estimation technique used to find the missing intermediate values between two known points or weather stations on a map. To carry out interpolation, the investigator first plots the exact positions of all stations on a base map and notes down their recorded values. Then, the difference in values between two stations is divided by the actual distance between them to determine the step-by-step rate of change. Finally, keeping the chosen mapping interval in mind (like every 5°C or 100mm), intermediate points are marked proportionally between the stations, and smooth lines are drawn to connect these identical calculated values across the layout.
