We know that P(A ∪ B) = P(A) + P(B) – P(A ∩ B)
∴0.7 = 0.5 + 0.35 – P(A ∩ B)
⇒ P(A ∩ B) = 0.5 + 0.35 – 0.7
⇒ P(A ∩ B) = 0.15
