  1. Communication is extremely useful for expressing feelings. Different methods of expression include communicating with friends, colleagues, cousins, teachers as well as our parents.
  2. Expressing our feelings through communication with near and dear ones, noting down our feelings, etc. helps us to relieve stress.
  3. Communication also helps to spread knowledge and to build healthy relationships.
  4. Good communication with family members, friends, etc. can help us establish harmonious relationships with others in society.
  5. Communication with others helps to overcome your problems, provide you with moral support, and also get to understand the perspective of people on different issues. 
  6. Good communication skills do not only mean good verbal skills but it also implies one’s listening skills. Apart from being a good orator, it is important that you are a good listener too. One should listen patiently to people around them and help them in the best possible way. 

In other words, we can say that good communication skills result in the all-around development of an individual.
