Protons

उत्तर
Protons: Since atoms are electrically neutral there must be equal positively charged particles in the atom. This led to the discovery of the protons.

Goldstein discovered protons. He used a perforated disc as a cathode and found positively charged rays travelling in the opposite direction to cathode rays.
These were protons i.e. positively charged particles, 1837 times heavier than an electron.

Define: Proton
Represent a neutron ‘n’ in term of its symbol showing the subscript and superscript value.
Write the properties of anode rays.
Assertion: Proton can be defined as a hydrogen ion (H+).
Reason: These photons are produced when one electron is removed from one hydrogen atom.
What are fluorescent materials?
An atom is electrically neutral. Give reason.
