उत्तर
The electronic configuration of:
A (17) = 2, 8, 7
B (19) = 2, 8, 8, 1
C (10) = 2, 8
-
- Element A has 7 electrons in its outermost shell it is a non-metal.
- Element B is a metal because there is only 1 valence electron in B.
- Eklement C is chemically inert element because there are 8 valence electrons in C.
- The formula of the compound formed by two of the above elements is BA. The reason being, B loses an electron and A gains that electron to form an ionic bond.
