Multimolecular colloids: On dissolution, large number of atoms or smaller molecules of substance aggregate together to form species that lie on colloidal range (diameter < 1nm). These colloids are multimolecular colloids eg. gold sol may contain particle of colloidal range each having many gold atoms.
