उत्तर

Let the coordinates of A and B be 3 and 6, respectively.

The co-ordinate of the first point is 3.

The co-ordinate for the second point are 6.

Since 6 > 3

∴ Distance between the points = d(A, B) = 6 – 3

∴ d(A, B) = 3
