⇒ `(9261)/(8000) = (1 + "r"/100)^3`

⇒ `(21)/(20) = 1 + "r"/(100)`

⇒ `(21)/(20) - 1 = "r"/(100)`

⇒ `(1)/(20) = "r"/(100)`

⇒ r = 5%.
