A wire is along the boundary of a circle with a radius of 28 cm. If the same wire is bent in the form of a square, find the area of the square formed.

Radius of circular wire = 28 cm
∴ Circumference = 2πr
= `2xx22/7xx28"cm"` = 176 cm
∴ Perimeter of the square formed by this wire = 176 cm
∴ Side (a) =`176/4` = 44 cm
Area of square so formed = a2 = (44)2 cm2
= 1936 cm2
