उत्तर

Given = length = 160 m, breadth = 120m

(i) The Perimeter of the field = 2 (l + b)

= 2 (160 m + 120 m)

= 2 x 280

= 560 m

(ii) The length of fence required to enclose the field = The perimeter of the rectan-gular field = 560 m

(iii) The cost of fencing the field = Length of fence x Rate of fence

= 560 m x ₹80 per metre

= ₹44, 800
