Dear Maithili Maam,

I am Shantanu from Malkangiri and I had come across the classified Ad for committed volunteers to teach underprivileged children in a popular daily newspaper.

I wished to apply for the role of a volunteer for the 'Each One teach one' campaign. I am well versed in Odiya, I can read, write and converse in the language and have prior experience teaching the language as I used to tutor before. I have just completed my graduation from college and looking for a way to give to my community and what better way than this. I am available for one hour a week and it is convenient because I like the area.
