उत्तर

Reciprocal determinism is a concept introduced by Albert Bandura as part of his social learning theory. It refers to the idea that a person’s behavior, personal factors (like thoughts and emotions), and environment all influence each other in a continuous, reciprocal interaction.

For example, a student who believes they are good at math (personal factor) may choose to participate more actively in class (behavior), which in turn earns praise from teachers (environment). This positive feedback further strengthens their belief and behavior.

In essence, reciprocal determinism emphasizes that people are not passive products of their environment; instead, they actively shape and are shaped by their surroundings, forming a dynamic system that contributes to personality development.
