National Science Day National Science Day was observed by the students of Violet Matriculation Higher Secondary School on 28th February, 2020 to mark the discovery of the Raman effect in 1928 by Indian physicist Sir Krishna Raman. The Director of the District Science Museum, Mr.Manoj presided over the function. This event, organized on account of National Science Day for the members of the forum was led by Mrs.Sushma, Physics teacher of our school. The celebration included public speeches, watching the night sky, live projects, debates, and many more activities. Every year, NSD is celebrated to widely spread a message about the Importance of science used in the daily life of the people. It is also celebrated to discuss all the issues and implement new technologies for the development in the field of science. The theme of the year 2020, “Science for the People, and the People for Science” was extensively discussed. |
