The city’s Z. P. School has started a new programme to entice students to read more in an effort to increase literacy and enhance academic performance. Recognizing the importance of literacy development and the numerous benefits it brings, educators are going the extra mile to inspire students to pick up books outside of their regular curriculum.
The initiative, aptly named “Reading Beyond Boundaries”, aims to create a culture of reading among students across all grade levels. Participating schools have implemented a range of methods and activities to make reading an engaging and fun activity. In the library, the school has designated a reading area where students can access a wide selection of books, including fiction, non-fiction, and reference materials.
