Sub: Request to start a news bulletin.
Respected Sir,
I, XYZ, the monitor of VII - B, would wish to request you to grant us permission to start a news bulletin for our school. As part of the Literary Club activity, the bulletin will serve as a platform for those who wish to enhance their writing skills and try their hands at journalism right in school.
The bulletin would be a one-page weekly news bulletin covering national news. It would also contain news related to school and the class. A different group will take charge of its preparation every week. Besides, enhancing students' creativity, the bulletin will also expose them to one of the career options which they can take up in later life.
Kindly consider my humble request and grant us the permission so that the Literary Club lives up to its motto -
Express, Enhance, Excel.
Thanking you,
Yours truly,
XYZ
