उत्तर
Under Aurangzeb, the Mughal Empire had expanded beyond the point of effective control. It covered almost whole of India, but the lack of communication and transport tended to weaken the empire. His partial religious policy also created rebel lions of Jats, Bundelas, Rajputs, the Sikhs, and the Marathas. His policy of war against Southern states also damaged the Mughal empire.
