उत्तर

There are more ports along the Western coast than the Eastern coast because the Western coast has an indented coastline with several natural harbours, short and swift rivers that don’t form large deltas, and several lagoons, making it suitable for ports. In contrast, the Eastern coast has a relatively straight coastline with big rivers forming large deltas, fewer lagoons, and less natural harbour formation, which limits the number of ports there.
